Chairman’s statement

To all golfers in Glamorgan Golf Union I hope 2022 has provided you with some great golfing moments all around of affiliated clubs around the County

It is a great honour to represent Glamorgan Golf Union as its Chairman.   I have been lucky enough to enjoy the Junior, County and more recently the Mid Am Team in the  35 years I have enjoyed this wonderful game.  More importantly the wonderful and lifelong friends through competing and more recently in Committee.

I found the Union is a strong position in that all our sections in 2022.   Which is as a result of all the hard work and commitment of the Executive committee over many years. 

My objectives during my time in office is build all aspects of Golf in our region with a bias toward Junior Golf which is the life blood of the future of out sport.   

The whole of the executive committee and its officers are here to support its affiliated clubs and their members.  We are very grateful of their continued support of our events and matches.

In the meantime enjoy your golf and the wonderful golf courses within our Union.
