Pennard Golf Club.
The Glamorgan County Golf Union are pleased to announce that the County Championships will take place at
Pennard Golf Club on Sunday 9th July 2023.
We will again include the Main Championship Event, Colts and Team Champions playable over 36 Holes.

2022 County Championships
The 2022 County Championships took place at Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club. A Sunday that was forecast to be windy but glorious was the sunshine at this magnificent venue. A field of 48 golfers teeing off from the 1st tee with a nice north easterly breeze at their backs. The golf was played in good spirit and the conditions did not reflect a large portion of the scoring. The day was won by Harry Frazer of Pennard, a morning score of 69 was then followed by a 74 in the afternoon, a tally of 143. Tom Peet, taking the honours in the Colt Competition with matching scores of 73 taking the youngster to a respectable score of 146, taking overall 3rd position. David Phillips with a 75/71 showing his prowess in a committed two rounds of golf taking 2nd position just 3 shots off the winner. The team event was won by Whitchurch Golf Club. The course was presented in fantastic condition and our thanks go to the staff at Pyle & Kenfig for their hard work and warm welcome.
A big thank you to all the officials who ran the day and special thanks to Elizabeth Morgan for helping out as usual.
