The County Card Scheme

The County Card is changing

This year after consultation with the clubs we’ve decided to desist with the physical county card and look at digital options.
For now we ask members of our affiliated clubs to use the Wales golf app or your club app as evidence of membership of a Glamorgan club and that our clubs ask their appropriate members of staff to accept same for members of other clubs. If  members contact the club they intend playing in advance to clarify the situation hopefully everything will carry on as normal.

The Glamorgan County Card Scheme provides the male members, of affiliated clubs to the Glamorgan Golf Union, the opportunity of a discounted green fee at any of our clubs across our county. Membership of the scheme is available, free of charge, to all male members as part of your affiliation fee.

Rules & Conditions

You must be a member of a club that is affiliated to the Glamorgan County Golf Union.

You must book at least 24 hours in advance of the intended date of your visit by contacting the Manager / Secretary of the Host Club.

Conditions of card scheme acceptance may vary at each participating club. Play is entirely at the discretion of the Host Club who may, at busy times, decline access at the county card scheme rate.

The scheme is not intended to be used as a part of a Society booking.

County card scheme users agree to abide by these rules and regulations and also those of the Club being visited.

Clubs in other counties in South Wales and the west of England may accept membership of the Glamorgan County Card scheme to give a reduced green fee rate. Please contact the club you wish to visit first to ensure the use of the Glamorgan County Card scheme is valid.
